Asia in Focus

Asia in Focus is a peer-reviewed journal published online twice a year by NIAS – Nordic Institute of Asian Studies. NIAS is a Nordic research and service institute focusing on Asia’s modern transformations. Asia in Focus was initiated by NIAS to provide Master students and Ph.D. students affiliated to a Nordic institution a widely accessible and transnational forum to publish their findings. The journal is now open to students from all European institutions of higher education.

Heidelberg Studies on Transculturality seeks research that coincides with the Cluster’s aim of establishing a "morphology of flows and circulations” which concentrates on “exploring the specific dynamics of transcultural interactions”. The series will include works which strengthen this dialog both within and across disciplines.
